The Magazine section presents long-form editorial reports — each exploring a single craft, a historical era, or the trajectory of a particular master — at greater depth than other sections allow.
1. Editorial line
The Magazine publishes five to seven long-form articles per month, each 2,000–4,000 words. We don't cover daily news but the deeper questions: aging masters, tourism's impact on workshops, the revival of forgotten crafts, Morocco's relationship to export markets, the politics of UNESCO inscription.
2. Sub-sections
- Reportage — field visits to active workshops.
- Portrait — masters, women artisans, researchers.
- Investigation — economic and cultural matters.
- Archive — republication of rare historical texts.
- Opinion — academic and artistic contributions.
3. Current issue
The current issue is in preparation. To contribute an article or access back issues via the magazine's PDF library, please write to salam@snaatbladi.com.
